Influencing Skills
I run this three day programme with Warren Scott of Oakwood Learning, on whose research it is based.  It is a behavioural skills training programme.  Over the first two days, we help particpants build their understanding of a number of the behaviours identified as key for influencing others.  Each behaviour is explained and explored, and participants practice and receive feedback on each.  With accurate feedback, people can expand their repertoire of effectiveness dramatically, and increase their impact, presence and ability to build influential relationships,  We then start to look at putting the skills together into effective strategies.

The final day is spent with professionally trained actors, with participants trying out combinations of skills and receiving feedback in live time so that they can modify their approach until they are happy with it and then practice that until it is fluent and comfortable.

We then offer follow up coaching in applying the learning in the workplace, to ensure the transfer of learning from the programme to real life.

The feedback from this programme over the last 10 years has been extremely  and consistently positive.

Moving Mountains
This is a one-day introduction to the skills and strategies of both influencing and negotiating. It covers the same material as the two longer workshops in a faster and necessarily more superficial way, and with more limited time for skills practice.  It is nonetheless very popular.
